How To Prepare Your Home For Carpet Cleaners

A few simple steps before we arrive

Having your carpets cleaned by Discover Carpet Care is an effortless process that involves little to no work on your part. That said, a few quick things will help the cleaning take as little time as possible:

• Turn on the water and electricity at the property. We can bring water, but depending on the size of the job we’ll usually need a garden-hose connection. Electricity lets you run the A/C afterward, which significantly speeds up drying.
• Pick up small items such as children’s toys and coins off the carpet before our technicians arrive.
• Heavy furniture: our technicians can move light furniture, but if you want us to clean under heavy or large pieces, please move them beforehand.
• Plan for kids and pets to be out of the areas we’ll be cleaning. Our products are safe for both, but it’s easier for the technicians to work without little ones running around.
• Leave a parking spot open in front of your home — the driveway or curb out front works.
• Point out any areas of concern when we arrive so we can address them properly, and feel free to ask any questions at that time.
