A Fresh Start for a Carpet in San Antonio, TX

Hello everyone! This is the team from Discover Carpet Care, your trusted carpet cleaning experts in San Antonio. We’re excited to share a recent project that put our skills to the test and reminded us why we love bringing new life to carpets here in the Alamo City.

Bringing back the luster

We were called in to restore a heavily soiled carpet that had seen better days. Armed with our powerful truck-mounted steam cleaning equipment and a deep-cleaning formula, we set to work. The carpet, originally a soft beige, had been darkened by years of foot traffic and stains ranging from coffee spills to pet accidents.

We began with a thorough pre-treatment using an enzyme solution to break down tough stains and odors, followed by high-temperature steam cleaning at over 200°F to remove dirt, bacteria, and allergens. We finished with a dry pass to speed drying and leave a soft, residue-free finish.

Tackling the tough spots

The most significant challenge was pet-related: the carpet had numerous pet stains and odors that required extra attention. We used specialized treatments to neutralize pet urine and eliminate odors at the source, completely removing the stains and leaving the carpet smelling fresh — all with safe, effective methods rather than harsh chemicals.

Supporting a local community

This project was in the heart of the King William Historic District, a beautiful area known for its historic homes and vibrant community. It’s always a pleasure to work in such a culturally rich part of San Antonio, and we were honored to help maintain these cherished properties. Our client was thrilled with the results.
